For Such a Time - Purim x Bernadet Putri
This porject marks my 1st journey as a shoe designer and also my 1st collaboration project with one of my fav botanical watercolor artist, Bernadet Putri.

Inspired by the Persian King Xerxes I infamous Queen Esther,
whose beauty is said to captivating those who look at her.
However, this queen is not just famous because of her look.
Her quick wit, intelligence, and integrity make her beloved by the king & her people.
From this story, I want us all as modern women has this "queen" trait inside each one of us. This queen is the real Cinderella story! From an ordinary girl to a great queen. She knows her value; Her heart doesn't desire silver nor gold. Her beauty is come from within.
The stars are known since ancient times help to read the time & direction. It doesn't have to be literal. It can be your dream, vision, etc. We pray for women out there who are lost to find the right "star" to finally arrive at their "destination".
To women out there:
1. Know your value girl; love yourself more #selflove
2. Be the "star" of your own story

There are 4 types of shoes.
From left to right:
Block Heels - Kitten Heels - Mules - Loafers
To create the popping star effect, we use swarovski.
As for the constellation, we use 3D embroidery with special silver thread.
Each shoes are named.
Layla (Night) - Block Heels
Sterne - Loafers
Regina (Queen) - Kitten Heels
Brīt (Bright)- Mules
While illustrating the illustration for this collection, she's been hearing Star - Song by Nadin. She wants women to be the brightest one can be the star of their own story.
Everything is an alright girl. Dream as big, believe in it & reach the star of your dream.
Whoever you are, girl, I believe we are the queen of ourselves. Don't let anyone says otherwise. Esther means "star" hence the collection is about the star.
Who knows for such a time as this, you are the "star" of your own story.
